For Laquon Treadwell, his time with the Minnesota Vikings hasn’t exactly been full of rainbows and butterflies. In three seasons, Treadwell has yet to live up to any of the expectations he was given when the Vikings selected him in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.
Minnesota’s feelings about the young wide receiver were revealed earlier this offseason when they decided not to pick up his fifth-year option. With this decision, Treadwell will become a free agent in 2020 after his current contract with the Vikings expires.
At this point, it doesn’t seem like Minnesota has much interest in him returning after the upcoming season.
