The Minnesota Vikings got off to a fast start and absolutely destroyed the Atlanta Falcons in their opening game of the 2019 season.
The Vikings were humming on defense and the running game was too much for the Dirty Birds to handle. Minnesota had a few rookies active in the matchup and some of them were key to the victory over Atlanta.
None of the Vikings’ top rookies from Week 1 were on the defensive side of the football. Armon Watts wasn’t even active and only cornerbacks Kris Boyd and Mark fields saw action.
