Tom Obarski gives Concordia-St. Paul a second player in NFL camps

Concordia-St. Paul sent its first player to the NFL last season and now he has a Super Bowl ring. The Division II school, though, isn't about to stop there.

A year after defensive end Zach Moore joined the New England Patriots and helped hoist a trophy, Golden Bears kicker Tom Obarski has signed as an undrafted free agent with the Cincinnati Bengals. And the team says Obarski has a chance to make the team.

"I don't believe in just bringing in camp legs," Bengals special teams coordinator Darrin Simmons said Tuesday. "If we're going to bring somebody in, we're going to bring somebody in that is competition for a spot.
