With the Minnesota Vikings’ rookies already having reported to the Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center in Eagan and the rest of the team set to be there by Tuesday, we got some confirmation from Kevin O’Connell on something that we have been expecting.
O’Connell announced that tight end T.J. Hockenson would be starting Training Camp on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) List while he continues to rehabilitate the knee injury he suffered near the end of the 2023 season. Edge defender Andrew Van Ginkel, on the other hand, will not be placed on the PUP List but, per O’Connell, will have to “ramp up” as Training Camp progresses.
