Even with career game from running back Dalvin Cook and a breakout performance by rookie receiver Justin Jefferson, the Vikings fell to 0-3 with a 31-30 loss to the Tennessee Titans on Sunday at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Stephen Gostkowski kicked a 55-yard field goal with 1:44 left to give the Titans the win. Gostkowski made all six of his field-goal attempts, three from more than 50 yards after Titans drives repeatedly stalled in the Minnesota territory.
With Kirk Cousins was coming of the worst game of his career as a starter, the offense turned to Cook and r Jefferson to take a 17-9 halftime lead.
