The Vikings have a challenging game on Sunday, largely due to who is slinging the football in Kansas City. Since being taken 10th overall in the 2017 NFL Draft, Patrick Mahomes has made a habit of making defenses look silly (lately, Minnesota’s defense hasn’t needed any extra help in that department, but I digress).
His arm talent is off the charts and his seemingly innate feel for where his receivers are going to be is the kind of thing that can’t be taught. Mahomes is, in a word, elite. For his efforts, Mahomes has five Pro Bowls, two first-team All Pro distinctions (alongside a second-team honor), a pair of MVP awards, and an Offensive Player of the Year Award.
