The pricetag of those endless NFL commercials? Nearly $700,000 apiece

If you felt bombarbed by the likes of DraftKings and DirecTV during the NFL's opening weekend, take solace in the fact those advertisers paid dearly for the privildge.

The price tag of a 30-second commerical during a pro football game is pushing $700,000, Ad Age reported this week.

The most expensive ads, at $689,000, are for Fox's late afternoon NFC games, which last year averaged 26.6 million viewers, the report said. Slots in NBC's Sunday night games were just behind that at $665,000. Ad Age said prices are up 5 percent to 8 percent from last year.
