The NFL Salary Cap is Going Up (By a Lot); The Vikings Should Rejoice

Well, at least we have the good news that the NFL salary cap is going to raise by quite a bit. Take a look at Field Yates with the word:

Being at $224.8 million is a notable increase. Last year, the cap was “only” $208,200,000. In other words, there has been a $16.6 million increase from 2022 to 2023, a reality that underscores the financial vibrancy of the league.

According to Over the Cap, Minnesota has $246,506,010 currently on the books. Even with the cap increase, the team has a bit of a hole to dig out of.
