MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The University of Minnesota says it’s stepping up security at TCF Bank Stadium in Minneapolis for the final two football games.
The university says there are no known security threats against college stadiums following last week’s terrorist attacks in Paris.
Additional public safety personnel will be on hand — and only clear bags, the size of a freezer storage bag, will be allowed in the stadium. No backpacks, purses, tote bags and camera cases are allowed.
The stadium will provide clear bags to fans to transfer possessions and there will be a bag check.
