Gary Kubiak, who coached the Denver Broncos to a Super Bowl title, will join the staff of Vikings coach Mike Zimmer as assistant head coach and offensive advisor, an NFL source said.
He led the Broncos to victory in Super Bowl 50 when they beat Carolina 24-10 following the 2015 season.
Kubiak's son, Klint, was a quality control and assistant wide receivers coach for the Vikings from 2013-14 and will return as quarterbacks coach under new offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski, the source said.
Brian Pariani, a longtime coach under Gary Kubiak, will be the Vikings tight ends coach.
