MANKATO, Minn. -- The Minnesota Vikings were in their final practice before an off-day. Their Monday afternoon practice was delayed 20 minutes by a thunderstorm that cropped up just after the session had started.
The conditions seemed right for the chippiest practice of training camp so far, and Monday's workout was exactly that.
The 90-minute practice was punctuated by the first two skirmishes of camp -- a brief shoving match between running back Matt Asiata and linebacker Emmanuel Lamur, and a feistier exchange between Jabari Price and Laquon Treadwell, in which the cornerback and first-round pick went to the ground and Treadwell emerged without his helmet.
