EAGAN, Minn. -- Rob Brzezinski, the Minnesota Vikings executive vice president of football operations, draws a comparison to a heroic fictional character when describing his wife, Leah.
Moana, the heroine and namesake of the animated Disney film, takes on an adventurous and daring task to save her people. Over the last five years, Leah Brzezinski has lived out her own mission to help an under-identified and under-served population of children with learning differences.
In 2014, the Brzezinski’s eldest son, Ki, was struggling to get through the fifth grade. Considered intellectually gifted but also living with anxiety, ADHD and dysgraphia, a learning disability that affects writing abilities, Ki fell behind academically, socially and emotionally.
