EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- With the Minnesota Vikings sitting at the New York Giants' 41-yard line in the first quarter three weeks ago, quarterback Sam Bradford set up in the shotgun on a first-and-10, with three receivers to his right and running back Jerick McKinnon set up just behind his right shoulder. Bradford turned toward McKinnon as Giants cornerback Leon Hall crashed on the apparent run, but when Giants defenders pursued McKinnon, Bradford kept the ball and flipped a screen out to Cordarrelle Patterson, who followed blocks from Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs for a 21-yard gain.
