Yesterday, Minnesota Vikings tight end Robert Tonyan wound up having to be carted off of the field during the team’s practice session. The Vikings have already had to deal with a few significant injuries this training camp season, but it appears they’ve dodged a pretty big bullet in this case.
Tonyan is dealing with back spasms, according to the team. He was reportedly down on the field for a bit before he wound up getting carted off, so it could have been much worse. There is no word yet on whether or not he will miss any time going forward.
