MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) – The Minnesota Vikings will take on Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers Sunday without two of their key starters on defense.
The Vikings announced Friday that defensive tackle Sharrif Floyd and cornerback Xavier Rhodes will not play in Sunday’s game.
Rhodes also missed the season opener against Tennessee, which the Vikings won 25-16.
Floyd and Rhodes both appeared on the Vikings’ injury report this week with knee injuries.
Sunday’s game will be the first regular season game at U.S. Bank Stadium. Last time the two teams met, the Vikings beat the Pack 20-13 at Lambeau Field, securing their first division championship since 2009.
