The Minnesota Vikings were hoping to get cornerback Xavier Rhodes back into the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Detroit Lions at U.S. Bank Stadium. He missed last week’s game against New Orleans after suffering an ankle injury against the New York Jets, and was limited in practice all week.
However, apparently not all “limited” practices are created equal, according to Mike Garafolo of the NFL Network.
According to Garafolo, Rhodes “tweaked” his ankle in Friday’s practice and had to leave practice early. This means that while Rhodes has been listed as “questionable” on this week’s injury report, there’s a larger shadow being cast over his potential availability for Sunday’s divisional matchup.
