After the Minnesota Vikings lost cornerback Captain Munnerlyn to the Carolina Panthers recently, the Vikings have a decision to make in regards to who will be taking over Munnerlyn’s role in the defense next season. Second-year cornerback Mackensie Alexander seems to be in line for the job at this moment, but Minnesota could opt to go in another direction if they feel he is not quite ready to see more time on the field just yet.
One of the routes the Vikings could take in replacing Munnerlyn is to sign an experienced free-agent corner and according to the Pioneer Press’ Chris Tomasson, Minnesota has expressed interest in a particular defensive back who spent the 2016 season with the Buffalo Bills.
