Since the beginning of this year’s training camp, the Minnesota Vikings have expressed interest in adding another cornerback to their team. Well, it appears that the Vikings have finally decided on a guy to bring in.
Minnesota and free-agent corner Bene Benwikere have reportedly agreed to a deal according to NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo on Saturday.
Benwikere was originally drafted by the Carolina Panthers in 2014, but since 2016 he’s had stints with the Miami Dolphins, Green Bay Packers, Cincinnati Bengals, Dallas Cowboys, Arizona Cardinals, and Oakland Raiders.
Last season, he started in eight games for the Cardinals and he finished with a total of 54 tackles, four pass breakups, one interception, and one forced fumble.
