According to the Star Tribune’s Matt Vensel, the Minnesota Vikings have fired quarterbacks coach Scott Turner. Vensel cited a league source when he confirmed a previous report about the move from SiriusXM’s Alex Marvez.

Turner came aboard the coaching staff with has father, Norv, when Mike Zimmer was hired as the Vikings’ head coach in 2014. Despite his father resigning in the middle of the 2016 season, Scott remained on the team’s staff for the remainder of the year.
