Five games into the 2018 season, the rushing attack for the Minnesota Vikings has certainly not been the greatest aspect of the team’s offense.
Currently, the Vikings are averaging the second-fewest rushing yards per week in the NFL, the third-fewest yards per carry, and Minnesota has still not scored a touchdown on a running play this season. To be polite, the Vikings’ rushing offense has been atrocious this year.
However, Minnesota could get back to running the ball effectively this week when they take on the 1-4 Arizona Cardinals. Not only do the Cardinals possess one of the league’s worst run defenses this season, but Vikings running back Dalvin Cook is expected to return to the field on Sunday as well.
