On Tuesday, the Minnesota Vikings will being their Organized Team Activities (or OTAs) for this offseason as they begin their preparations for the 2015 NFL slate. In what shouldn't come as a huge surprise, their most prominent player is likely not going to be there.
Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press is reporting that running back Adrian Peterson will not be attending the team's workouts when they get underway at Winter Park. There are three different OTA sessions (26-28 May, 2-4 June, 8-11 June), and Peterson is not expected to attend any of them.
