MANKATO, Minn. -- The Minnesota Vikings are hosting NFL officials through their Saturday evening practice, as referees make their annual trips through training camps to brief teams on new rules and points of emphasis. Thursday was the first practice where the Vikings had officials on hand, and coach Mike Zimmer said the group had plenty of good things to say about the team's conduct.
"They said we were outstanding with our hands today -- the best they've seen this early in camp with a team," Zimmer said, before adding, "I don't know if I was supposed to say that or not -- too late.
