MINNEAPOLIS -- The Minnesota Vikings' first game at U.S. Bank Stadium started with a celebration that included many of the great names in franchise history: Alan Page, Carl Eller, Fran Tarkenton, John Randle, Cris Carter and Bud Grant, who blew the Gjallarhorn before the Sunday night matchup with the Green Bay Packers last weekend.
But there was one name noticeably absent: The man who triggered more eruptions than anyone in the stadium that previously sat on the same site. On Monday night, the Super Freak will be back in the building.
When the NFL schedule was released in April, Randy Moss picked out the Vikings' Monday night matchup with the New York Giants.
