Summary Zenner, an Eagan native who was a finalist for Minnesota Mr. Football, became the first running back in FCS history to rush for more than 2,000 yards in three seasons. He ranked third in rushing yards per game (144.2) and second in total rushing yards (2,019) in 2014, coming within 12 yards of the FCS all-time rushing record. Zenner rushed for 100 or more yards in 32 games. After balancing kickoff return and some running back duties as a freshman, Zenner became the feature back with 300 carries and 2,044 rushing yards as a sophomore when he led FCS with 157.
