The Minnesota Vikings, along with 23 other less-important NFL teams, can start looking forward to the 2019 NFL Draft. In a scenario that Vikings fans aren’t really accustomed to, the team should be in line for a bevy of late-round draft choices for this year’s selection meeting.
The folks from Over the Cap. . .who have been very accurate over the years in projecting these sorts of things. . .have released their final projections for the 2019 compensatory picks. They have the Vikings receiving three Compensatory Draft Selections in the 2019 NFL Draft. They are projected to receive a sixth-round choice to compensate for the loss of Teddy Bridgewater, and seventh-round picks to compensate for the losses of Tramaine Brock (which is still pretty hilarious) and Shamar Stephen.
