EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. –
Scott Kegley, Executive Director of Digital Media & Innovation, wanted to do something creative for the Vikings rookie class head shots and proposed the idea of a laser background.
“We thought this was a great opportunity to have some fun with our rookie class,” Kegley said. “The laser school photo was iconic, and our photographers were able to capture that look, finding the perfect background.”
Archive coordinator Zach Tarrant tracked down the laser backdrop, and Vikings photographer Andy Kenutis snapped the throwback photos. In editing, Kenutis even added a “Vikings” overlay in the corner to mimic the look of high school senior portraits.
