Each offseason prior to the NFL Draft, the Minnesota Vikings invite 30 prospects from the current draft pool to come visit their facilities and meet with the team’s coaches and staff. For the past few years, the meeting has been unofficially known as the Vikings’ Top-30 event.
A number of current players on Minnesota’s roster have attended this event in the past including wide receiver Laquon Treadwell, linebacker Anthony Barr, cornerback Trae Waynes, and safety Anthony Harris. There’s usually a good chance that at least one of the 30 prospects visiting will eventually be a member of the Vikings’ roster.
