Last year the Vikings took a shot with massive Polish offensive tackle Babatunde Aiyeugbusi, and it looks like Minnesota may once again be pondering bringing over a European player with unusual physical tools.
According to a report from NFL.com, the Vikings are among several NFL teams taking a good long look at German Football League star wide-out Moritz Boehringer.
The 22-year-old Boehringer is 6-4, 222 pounds and reportedly runs a 4.39 40 and has a 37-inch vertical. Boehringer only took up football four years ago but is already dominating the German Football League. In his rookie season in 2015, he had 70 catches for 1,461 yards and 16 touchdowns.
