Before we begin to discuss yesterday’s......not-so-pretty win, I’d first like to thank all of the veterans out there who have served. Today is December 7, 2020, which is exactly 79 years from the day that the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor (courtesy of the HIstory Channel). 2,400 American solidiers were killed, and 1,200 were wounded in the attack, America entered World War II shortly thereafter, and another 400,000 American soldiers died in that war protecting the freedom that we enjoy. My dad was one of those who fought. After my daily routine of raising the flag in front of my house this morning, I took a little extra time a to give thanks for the freedom that I have, and to remember that it didn’t come free.
