Week 9 was something special for the Minnesota Vikings. Despite a struggling offense, the team’s defense was able to put the game on their shoulders and keep the Lions out of the end zone to get a big 24-9 win at U.S. Bank Stadium.
Even more impressive was the defense’s ability to get to the quarterback. They set a franchise record of ten sacks on Matthew Stafford on the day and allowed only 209 total yards of offense from Detroit.
There were some amazing individual efforts during the game while others were a little disappointing.
