The Minnesota Vikings took on the Pittsburgh Steelers in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game in Canton, Ohio on August 9, 2015. It was a low scoring affair, with the final score being 14-3 in favor of the Vikings.
This game capped off Hall of Fame Weekend, where 8 individuals were honored by being inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Minnesota and Pittsburgh were chosen as they had two of the players who joined the Hall of Fame this weekend, Vikings center Mick Tingelhoff and Steelers running back Jerome Bettis.
The game lacked some star power, with Adrian Peterson, Ben Roethlisberger, Antonio Brown and several others sitting out, but there was still plenty of action to give us our first taste of professional football for the 2015 season.
