Watching the construction of U.S. Bank Stadium over the last year has been very interesting. Seeing the beams go up, seats get installed, and drainage systems being put in was great to watch, but it still never had the feel of being a football field.
Now, it finally seems to be getting the Minnesota Vikings touch, as the Vikings as well as other media sources are reporting that the turf is being installed in the stadium. While it may seem like a minor step in a billion dollar facility, it is a big step toward recognizing the building as a place to play football and separate it from other major concert calls and arenas.
