Multiple sources have confirmed that teams are showing interest in Minnesota Vikings cornerback Trae Waynes.
The 2015 first-round draft pick could be headed elsewhere before the NFL Draft in April. Minnesota picked up his fifth-year option for a guaranteed $9.069 million. The Vikings would likely get a couple draft picks for Waynes, such as a third and fifth round pick (me just spit balling). Who knows, Minnesota could be offered a 2nd round pick for him.
This could benefit both parties: It clears cap space for Minnesota to address needs elsewhere and could grab a couple picks out of the deal.
