Minnesota Vikings sign quarterback Mitch Leidner, waive Darnell Sankey

With two weeks of the preseason in the books, the Minnesota Vikings are still making transactions in order to put together the best roster possible heading into the 2017 NFL season and evaluate young talent.

The team announced on their official website today that quarterback Mitch Leidner has been signed to the roster. To make room for the passer, linebacker Darnell Sankey was waived from the squad.
