On Tuesday, the Arizona Cardinals poached a member of the Minnesota Vikings’ practice squad, as they signed offensive lineman Colby Gossett to their 53-man roster. Gossett, a sixth-round pick of the Vikings this past year out of Appalachian State, spent camp with the Vikings and was signed to the practice squad on the first day practice squads could be formed.
To take his place, the Vikings went through a. . .sigh. . .changing of the guard, signing guard Landon Turner to their practice squad.
Turner, who won the Jim Parker Trophy for the best offensive lineman in college football (as given by the Touchdown Club of Columbus) in 2015, was a first-team All-American and first-team All-ACC that season as well.
