We haven’t reached the regular season opener yet, but the practice squad shuffling is starting for the Minnesota Vikings already.
On Wednesday morning, the team announced that they had signed former Golden Gophers cornerback Jalen Myrick to the practice squad. In order to make room for him, they released defensive back Jack Tocho.
During his college career at Minnesota, Myrick collected five interceptions and two touchdowns. He then turned some heads by running the fastest 40-yard dash at the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine for defensive backs, clocking in at 4.
