With the way their current roster is constructed, the Minnesota Vikings don’t have a lot of room for a pure fullback. With that in mind, the team released one as part of their initial wave of cuts on Friday afternoon.
The Vikings have released fullback Luke McNitt, who they signed just a couple of weeks ago. McNitt was one of several players that the Vikings had signed after their game against the Jackonville Jaguars that saw them suffer multiple injuries.
McNitt went undrafted out of Nebraska and initially signed with the Atlanta Falcons.
