A former member of the Minnesota Golden Gophers that our favorite football team brought in a little over a week ago has been released by the team.
As part of their initial wave of cuts on Friday afternoon, the Minnesota Vikings released running back Kobe McCrary.
McCrary, primarily a fullback with the Gophers, rushed for nearly 800 yards in his time at the U of M, and found the end zone 11 times during his career. After going undrafted this past season, he had a mini-camp tryout with the Vikings, and was signed by the team on 21 August.
