The man that stirred up a bit of a firestorm for what appeared to be a routine quarterback sack earlier in the preseason will not be making the Minnesota Vikings’ 53-man roster.
Antwione Williams, the linebacker that was flagged for a sack of Jacksonville Jaguars’ quarterback Cody Kessler that many used as an example of what’s wrong with the league’s new “helmet rule,” has been released by the Vikings, according to multiple reports.
Williams is in his third season in the NFL, having been drafted in the fifth round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions.
