When talking about the high-priority free agents the Minnesota Vikings could be leaving the team, there were some big names to be worried about. While the team hasn’t been able to sign back several players, they did lock down running back Ameer Abdullah.
Abdullah was a midseason claim off waivers in 2018 from the Lions who joined the Vikings primarily as the kick return specialist and provided veteran depth at the running back position. Now, it appears as though Minnesota is giving him another shot to impress in 2019.
