Following a big division win over the Detroit Lions on Sunday, the Minnesota Vikings found themselves at 4-2 for the season. More importantly, Minnesota completed the season sweep over Detroit and moved to 2-0 in the NFC North. With them still two games behind the division leading Green Bay Packers, the Vikings may have to rely on a Wild Card spot if they hope to have a playoff berth in 2015.
According to FiveThirtyEight.com, the Minnesota Vikings have increased their odds to be a playoff team following week 7 to 46%. They were also given a 12% chance to win the NFC North, with the Green Bay Packers owning the remaining 88%.
