It’s the day after Memorial Day, or Sunburn Tuesday, as we in the upper midwest normally refer to it. Memorial Day is usually the first weekend of significant sunshine exposure we upper-midwesterners have gotten for a very long time, and many of us (alcohol consumption tends to increase the probability of being included in this group) have somehow managed to have forgotten that sun exposure can result in a sunburn, especially when your skin hasn’t seen the sun in over 6 months. Then, on Tuesday, you’ll see this fairly large percentage of our population show up to work today, looking like something that resembles a lobster.
