The QB carousel is turning and now the media jackals are all predicting/assuming Sam Darnold is going to sign with the Seahawks after they trade Geno Smith to the Raiders for a 3rd round pick. The connection makes a ton of sense because Seahawks OC Klint Kubiak worked with Darnold in 2023 as San Francisco’s passing game coordinator. The question is would Darnold view the Seahawks as a good situation to pilot? DK Metcalf wants a trade and they just released Tyler Lockett which was understandable due to his contract and age (maybe). What else do they have that is attractive besides a new deal?
