Despite having the NFL’s second-best pass-defense last year, the secondary for the Minnesota Vikings is not in amazing shape heading into the 2018 season.
The Vikings’ top two cornerback spots on their depth chart seem to be set with Xavier Rhodes and Trae Waynes. But after that, no one really knows which corners will be filling out the rest of Minnesota’s 2018 depth chart.
Mackensie Alexander is apparently no lock to be the Vikings’ nickel cornerback next season and Terence Newman is still unsure if he will re-sign with the team or retire.
