Minnesota Vikings: Jeff Locke has miserable night vs. Seattle

Maybe now Mike Priefer is ready to bring in some competition for Jeff Locke.

Thursday night against Seattle, Locke had a total stinker of a game. And Priefer may be running out of patience.

Things started promisingly when Locke’s first punt traveled 38 yards down to the three where it was downed by Jabari Price. But it was all downhill from there for the Vikings’ only punter.

Locke got good distance on his second punt, hitting it 56 yards, but unfortunately he boomed it right into the end zone for a touchback.

Locke’s very next punt was another long one – 54 yards – but again he sailed it into the end zone.
