The Minnesota Vikings have a hole to fill in their secondary this offseason. This is largely due to the loss of cornerback Captain Munnerlyn during free agency. Munnerlyn was an effective nickel corner in the Vikings defensive scheme. Veteran Lardarius Webb is perfect to fill that hole.
Webb has played cornerback and safety at a very high level in the NFL. By adding him to the roster, the Vikings would fix the loss of Munnerlyn. In addition, this move will provide depth at the safety position.
