Work on the new stadium continues at a nice clip (in spite of the odd mishap). According to Vikings PR, the stadium is now 65% complete with 12 months remaining.
A big construction milestone was recently passed when the roof ridge truss was de-centered, meaning it’s now supporting its own weight.
The huge crane at the site, reputedly the third largest crane in the world, is due to be dismantled at the end of the month.
So things are coming along nicely, but there’s still a long time to go before fans can actually enter the stadium and begin soaking in its full majesty.
