On Wednesday, the Minnesota Vikings released their initial injury report as they started preparations for their game on Sunday against the Detroit Lions at Ford Field. The injury list for the Vikings has gotten much shorter over the past few weeks, which is a positive sign, but there are still a couple of significant names on the list.
The big one is that of linebacker Eric Kendricks, who was the only member of the team to sit out of Wednesday’s practice session. Kendricks was limited in a couple of practices last week because of a rib issue, but this is being listed as a hamstring injury, so it’s a completely new injury he’s dealing with.
