It wasn’t that long ago that the Minnesota Vikings were taking a look at a chunk of land in Eagan, Minnesota. The speculation is that the land would be home to the new practice facility for the team.
With Minnesota signing a deal through 2018 to make Mankato their official training camp facility, the time frame is right to allow development and construction of the land.
It was announced yesterday that the land purchase was finalized. The Vikings used Opportunity Partners Fund IV to help them complete the transaction with Delta Air Lines. The financial details of the deal were not released, but the team’s purchase of the land does lead us to believe that it will eventually be used for the football squad in the future.
