When the Minnesota Vikings moved into their temporary home of TCF Bank Stadium for the 2014 NFL season, the team surprised quite a few people by choosing the side of the field that was typically given to the visitors during college football games. However, that decision could pay major dividends for Minnesota on Sunday.
According to Pro Football Talk, the Vikings north sideline will the warmer of the two during what will likely be a sub-zero degree temperature game in the NFC Wild Card game. The guys in Minnesota will have the benefit of the sunshine to at least help them feel a little warmer.
